Gates and Sons BBQ is another legend in the BBQ world, especially for their sauce. Coincidentally, this place is located on Brooklyn Avenue, only about two miles north of Arthur Bryant's. You would think that would be a cool place to live, but there is virtually nothing else open or noteworthy in either neighborhood. Kansas City? I'd rather be in Philadelphia.Man, has the weather been a bummer! As you can see in this photo, it was snowing in Kansas City on Sunday morning, and throughout the afternoon as we drove east toward St. Louis. It is windy, and it is cold!
